Large kitchen design and installation, Tingley

This kitchen diner used to be two spaces. The client found that neither spaces worked separately. The kitchen was not quite large enough and was the one installed by the builder 10 years previously and the dining room, just never seem to get used enough. The brief was to create something that was incredibly functional and minimilstic across the two rooms.

The obvious answer was to knock two rooms into one. Creating a much lighter, brighter space. This would satisfy the functional element of the brief. The minimilstic element was a little more difficult as she wanted a completely handless design, in white but without the Poggenpohl price tag.

Using the same acrylic material as Poggenpohl in bright white, with a Thick (100mm) Corian worktop we were able to achieve exactly what the client was looking for.

In the end we built a large u shaped kitchen with exceptional storage by using pull-out larder facilities coupled with an expansive use of pan drawers and hidden cupboards within the island / bar stool end section.

The final product use was:-

- Solid acrylic door fronts

- 100mm Glacier white Corian worktops

- Bosch and Smeg appliances

- Engineered oak floor.

- Franke sink and taps

- White glass splashbacks
